What’s on Tap & On Menu at the Pub
October is a time to celebrate the the cool & colorful fall weather along with the Pub’s annual BC Craft Beer & Burger Month. During this month, we celebrate two things we are passionate about here in the Pub ….. delicious hamburgers and BC craft beers! We are featuring our own specialty craft burgers paired with BC craft beers. You can choose from 1 of 7 specialty burgers: Braised Brisket Bourguignon Burger, Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, Miso Fish Burger, Git in Mah’ Pork Belly Bao Bun Burgers, Falafel Avocado Burger, The Pub Dessert Burger or a Pub Classic Cheeseburger all paired with a refreshing BC Craft Brew from some of our favourite brewers. While our burger take sometimes stretch the definition of what a burger is (dessert burger anyone?!?!), you know they will always be delicious & filling. For this On Tap & On Menu post, we thought we would highlight one of the featured new burgers, Braised Brisket Bourguignon Burger, along with a fall favourite, the Tall Timber Brown Ale from Mt Begbie Brewing. which are both featured on this year’s BC Craft Beer & Burger Menu:
Featured Burger: Braised Brisket Bourguignon Burger
This new addition for October features Braised beef brisket with bacon, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms & served with a red wine dipping sauce
Featured Beer: Mount Begbie Tall Timber Brown Ale
Our suggested beer pairing to go with this tasty burger is Mount Begbie Tall Timber Brown Ale. This cool weather ale features a dark and delicious blend of caramel and chocolate malt flavours, perfectly balanced by the mild spicy earthy tones of English Goldings finishing hops. This medium-bodied ale is a beer dedicated to the rugged pioneers of places in the Kootenays like Revelstoke and Fernie. The dark earthy tones of this beer strikes a great balance with the beef brisket and red wine sauce. Make sure to try out this pairing during the Pub’s BC Craft Beer & Burger month!
